| Another exciting day started early. We have a lot to do today so we got up, prayed, and ate breakfast early so we could start with rehearsal by 8:15. |
![]() Waiting for rehearsal to begin. We're told to drink LOTS of water to take care of our voices. |
| This morning we had Mass together again as a choir. This time we had it in St. Benedict Chapel in the basement of the University & Abbey Church. Fr. Anthony presided and preached again. We got a lot out of Mass. |
| After that we had our third music class. This was was on textures in music and counterpoint. We learned about how "imitation" works in some of our music, and how the composer weaves melodies in and out between the different voices. We look especially at the pieces by Palestrina and Durufle. |
| There was another open rehearsal for the Liturgical Music Conference participants. (The Liturgical Music Conference will end tomorrow morning, and after the Closing Mass we will board the bus for Milwaukee.) |
| Then we had another religion class. It was on the Blessed Virgin Mary, and we had another good discussion. (We're singing three pieces in honor of Mary.) |
.We were all very interested in religion class today. |
| Then it was time to get ready for our first concert, which was in the Great Hall. |
![]() We sounded great in this amazing space. And the audience was very supportive again and gave us another standing ovation. |

| After the concert we had some free time. Many of us used it to be outside on a great Minnesota night. |
