| This morning we got up REALLY early. We had to be at the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist to warm up before the 8:00 Mass that we were singing at. |
![]() Who do these guys think they are? One counselor suggested the Three Musketeers |
![]() Light breakfast in the dorm lobby (with bigger breakfast later at the cathedral). |
| After a quick breakfast we rushed to the cathedral and got ready to sing. We were singing in a little loft next to the organ and had a great view of the whole church. |

| The 8:00 Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Rembert Weakland, OSB, who just finished a doctoral dissertation on Ambrosian chant. |

The Archbishop came and talked to us and congratulated us while we had some rolls and juice. |
| We had some time between the 8:00 Mass and our prelude before the 11:00 Mass so the choristers spread out a bit to relax. |
![]() Those three guys again... ...apparently trying to be the Beetles. |
![]() Some less adventuresome choristers stayed inside and sat around on some comfortable furniture. |
| We sang beautifully at the 11:00 Mass, and a little boy said to his mother, "Mommy where are the angels singing from?" We went to the Milwaukee Art Museum for an interesting tour. Here's Lake Michigan right outside the museum: |

| Then we got on the bus for the long trip back to Collegeville. |

Some choristers were more energetic than others. |
![]() And one of them finally stole the camera from the counselor, Chris Jacobson., who has been doing most of the Daily Diary stuff. |
![]() As we got nearer to Saint John's that same chorister, Alejandro, took a picture of a gorgeous Minnesota sunset. |
| As we got to Saint John's a thunderstorm was almost upon us so we quickly sang Compline and headed back to our dorms. Most of us made it before the downpour. |
