HOSTED  BY SAINT JOHN'S ABBEY AND UNIVERSITY
Collegeville, Minnesota
July 9, 2002

This morning began in Kansas City, MO with a wakeup call from the host families.  The bus was soon on its way to Omaha, NE where the choir was to perform 4 times.  The choir arrived at the St. Cecilia's Cathedral to perform at the opening event of the National Pastoral Musician's Convention (MPM).  Here the choir joined forces with a schola made of musicians from Omaha and members of the NCYC Staff.

In the evening, the choir performed once again in St. Vincent de Paul Church  in Omaha.  After performing here, the choir headed to the Holiday in to spend the night.

Quotes from the choristers

"180 hours of rehearsal, 71 hours on the bus, 9 hours of sleep. . . (and) I can't come back." - Laura LeGault
