The choir and staff deserved a rest this
morning after a long week of rehearsal so they were allowed to sleep in for
an extra 45 minutes this morning. Prayer and breakfast followed before
rehearsing one last time before their first performance at St. John's Abbey
Church. The performance was magnificent. After mass, photographs of the choir and staff were taken before Brunch. In the afternoon, the choristers enjoyed a large amount of free time to unwind. Activities included a water balloon fight, swimming at the lake, sand volleyball and so on. The choir rehearsed once again before supper. After supper, there was another segment of rehearsal which ended with Compline. Free time followed so the choir took advantage of the indoor pool facilities, a evening walk in the woods or going to bed early. Lights out followed at the usual time. |
