2019 Head Camp Leader Katie H.

Katie is from Oakdale, MN. She is currently a rising junior. She is majoring in Vocal Performance Music and minoring in Psychology. She hopes to one day be a Music Therapist and work with memory care patients. She is an alumnus of ’15 and ’16 NCYC choirs and this is her first year as Head Camp Leader. She is involved in many things at CSB/SJU: Chamber Choir, Opera Workshop, Theatre, works in the Fine Arts box office and is the Office Assistant for NCYC. She is beyond excited to be working at camp this year.


2019 Camp Leader Emily B.

Emily is from Troy, Missouri (about an hour outside of St. Louis) and is currently a rising Junior at CSB/SJU! She is a Psychology Major and Music Minor. On campus, she is involved in the Chamber Choir, Opera Workshop, KJNB Radio, and Campus News. She loves to sing and dance and was a member of Troy Buchanan Show Choir for 6 years. She has past experience as a summer camp counselor, was a NCYC Leader last summer, and is extremely excited to be returning to the NCYC team!


2019 Camp Leader Matt K.

Matt recently graduated with a choral music education degree from Saint John's University, where he was involved with the CSB/SJU Chamber Choir and the St. John's Boys' Choir. Originally from Farmington, Minnesota, he has previously worked as a summer camp counselor at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Twin Lake, Michigan, and is excited to keep working with young musicians as they explore the joys of making music!"


2019 Camp Leader Bernie D.

Bernie is from Owatonna, MN. She is a rising junior majoring in Theology and minoring in Communication. She is hoping to one day teach theology in a middle or junior high school! Bernie loves to make music, and is a member of the Chamber Choir at CSBSJU. She is actively involved in Saint John’s Campus Ministry and is an assistant Retreat Team leader when school is in session. Bernie loves spending time with her family and friends, and is so excited to be working for her first year at NCYC!


2019 Camp Leader Brady L.

Brady Labine is a Junior at Saint John's University and is from Detroit Lakes Minnesota. At SJU, he is studying Choral Education to hopefully be a teacher and coach one day. Brady participates in the Chamber Choir as well as being on the track team. This will be his first year working for NCYC and he cannot wait to learn what it is all about.
