National Catholic Youth Choir (NCYC) wants to encourage all high school Catholic choristers to experience this life-changing camp opportunity, no matter their financial situation. So, we are very excited to offer scholarships and referral opportunities!

chorister referral Opportunity

Hey returning choristers! If you're coming back to NCYC 2019 and looking to save money, refer a friend! You'll get $100 off each friend you refer; up to a $300 savings off your camp registration. Your referred friend must complete the full application/audition process and be accepted to 2019 NCYC for you to receive $100 off. So, go out, spread the word, the fun AND save money while doing it!

NCYC offers two merit-based scholarships to two first-time choristers. Merit-based scholarships are performance-based and we ask for additional voice recordings to determine recipients.  Each merit-based scholarship is up to $500 and will be given to one female and one male chorister.

To apply for this merit-based scholarship, please submit a recording of you singing a classical piece of music; suggested length of 2-4 minutes. It does not have to be a sacred piece. It may be accompanied or unaccompanied. If you are accepted to receive this special scholarship, you will be expected to either sing a solo or to cantor during camp.

Please submit your vocal audition recording for the Merit-based scholarship in one of the following formats:
